Blue Haven

Blue Haven is located on the northeastern end of Providenciales, the most populous island in the Turks and Caicos archipelago. Situated on its own private beach, the resort offers stunning ocean views and a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Blue Haven Resort has suites, studios, and penthouses, totalling 45 accommodations. The suites range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom options, while the studios are perfect for couples or solo travellers. All suites come with private balconies or patios, offering stunning ocean views. Please note that studios do not have patios or balconies.

Our guests are a diverse mix of couples, families, and groups of friends and family. We offer spacious and comfortable accommodations, a stunning beach location, and a variety of amenities and activities to appeal to all ages. Depending on your family’s travel preferences, Blue Haven or Alexandra may be the better choice for you. Blue Haven is a quieter resort with a smaller private beach and a more relaxed atmosphere. Alexandra is a livelier resort with more activities and amenities for families with younger children.

Yes, Blue Haven Resort is family-friendly with kid-friendly amenities and activities. Blue Haven tends to have fewer children than Alexandra Resort. Depending on your family’s travel preferences, Blue Haven or Alexandra may be the better choice for you. Blue Haven is a quieter resort with a smaller private beach and a more relaxed atmosphere. Yes, Blue Haven Resort has a private beach. The resort is located on its own private beach on Leeward Channel, which is just around the peninsula from Grace Bay beach (view map) and has a view of Mangrove Cay in the distance. The beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing.

Yes, Blue Haven offers free self-parking for guests. The parking lot is located on-site and is easily accessible from the resort’s entrance. There is no need to make a reservation for parking.

The sister property to Blue Haven is Alexandra Resort, which is also located on Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos. Both resorts are part of the Turks and Caicos Collection All-Inclusive Resorts. Blue Haven guests are welcome to dine, beach and play at Alexandra Resort via our complimentary shuttle. 

Guests of either resort can enjoy the amenities and facilities of the other resort, as they are located just a short complimentary shuttle ride away from each other.

Yes, Blue Haven has security measures in place to ensure the safety of its guests. These measures include 24-hour security staff, gated entrance, video surveillance, keyless entry locks, and in-room safes.

Check-in at Blue Haven Resort is from 3:00 PM. The resort can arrange for early check-in based on availability. To request early check-in, please contact the resort directly. Please note that the resort cannot guarantee early check-in. If you arrive at the resort before 3:00 PM, your luggage may be stored at the front desk until your room is ready.

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. The resort can arrange for late check-out based on availability. To request late check-out, please contact the resort directly. Please note that the resort cannot guarantee late check-out.

Yes, Blue Haven Resort has a fitness center that is open to guests 24 hours a day. The fitness center is located on the property and has a variety of cardio and strength-training equipment, as well as free weights and yoga mats.

Yes, we do have yoga classes twice a week, please check your activity schedule upon arrival.  

Blue Haven Resort offers entertainment options for guests of all ages including live music, movies, games and activities, kids’ club, cultural shows, and special events. They also offer a variety of amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and dining options.

Blue Haven Resort has one pool which is a beachfront infinity-edge pool with a swim-up bar. It is on the resort’s private beachfront and surrounded by day beds, lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool is open to guests from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Whether or not you need an outlet converter for your electronics in the Turks and Caicos depends on the country of origin of your electronics and the voltage and frequency of the electricity supply in the Turks and Caicos. If your electronics are from the United States or Canada, you will not need an outlet converter. If your electronics are from a country that uses a different type of outlet or a different voltage, you will need an outlet converter.

The official currency of the Turks and Caicos is the United States dollar (USD). You will find that US dollars are accepted for all transactions, including at hotels, restaurants, shops, and taxis. If you prefer to use cash, you will find ATMs located throughout shopping areas. We do not have ATMs located at our resorts. You can also use credit cards at most establishments.

In Turks and Caicos, drivers adhere to the left-side of the road, unlike in the United States and Canada.

There is no true rainy season, however there will be slightly more precipitation between May and November. Rainfall is typically brief. We rarely encounter sargassum seaweed on Grace Bay beach in front of Alexandra Resort and our private beach at Blue Haven Resort. When it does appear, it is usually due to an unusual weather event and our teams work to clean it from the beach as much as possible. A return to regular weather patterns cleans up the beach naturally. Grace Bay Beach on Providenciales is consistently ranked as one of the best beaches in the world. It is known for its white sand, clear turquoise waters, and calm waves. Smith’s Reef, located just off the coast of Grace Bay Beach, is a popular snorkeling spot teeming with marine life. Leeward Beach on Providenciales offers a long stretch of white sand and calm waters perfect for relaxing. Half Moon Bay on North Caicos features a crescent-shaped beach and dramatic cliffs. Things to Do in Turks & Caicos

Turks and Caicos usually not known for its night life. Providenciales, the most developed of the Turks and Caicos, has a variety of restaurant establishments, some of which have live music and dancing on select nights. There is also a weekly Island Fish Fry event, which is walking distance from our sister property, Alexandra Resort. Turks and Caicos has a lot to offer visitors, from relaxing on Grace Bay Beach to exploring the Caicos Cays to learning about the islands’ history and culture. Other activities include snorkeling, diving, horseback riding, eco-adventures and boating excursions. With its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and abundance of activities, Turks and Caicos is a great place to enjoy a tropical vacation.

Getting to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos

The nearest international airport to Turks and Caicos is Howard Hamilton International Airport (PLS). It is located on the island of Providenciales, which is the most popular island in Turks and Caicos.

As this is quite a popular vacation destination, direct flights are available from many U.S. cities including Miami, Charlotte, New York, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, and Boston.

Airport Transportation

The drive from the airport to Blue Haven is 17.6 km and takes 25 minutes via Leeward Highway.

Pre-booking transportation is not necessary. Taxis are readily available outside the baggage hall. Taxis are the most economical option for airport transportation. If you wish to book VIP airport transportation, our Guest Services Team can assist in making arrangements in advance.

Getting Around

Renting a car in Turks and Caicos is a good option for travelers who want the flexibility to explore the island at their own pace and visit places that are not accessible by public transportation. However, it is important to consider the cost of renting a car before deciding. If you are only planning on staying in one or two places and not doing a lot of exploring, you may be able to get around by taxi or public transportation.

There is currently no Uber or Lyft in Turks and Caicos.

All-Inclusive

Your all-inclusive room rate at Blue Haven Resort includes all meals, snacks, alcohol, drinks and and complimentary bikes.

Non-motorized watersports such as kayaks, stand up paddle and hobie cat sailing (at our sister resort).

Yes, alcohol is included in your all-inclusive room rate at Blue Haven Resort. You can enjoy unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at any of the resort’s restaurants and bars.

Yes, snacks are included in your all-inclusive room rate at Blue Haven Resort. The resort has a snack station that offers a variety of snacks. 

Retail store purchases, spa treatments, motorized water sports, diving, airport transfers, tours, and any other services or amenities not specifically mentioned in your all-inclusive rate are extra costs.

Government taxes and service charges are included in our rates. If guests wish to leave additional gratuity, this is entirely at their discretion.

Rooms

Only robes are provided in the rooms for use during your stay.

Washer and dryers are only in the suites.

Blue Haven Resort restaurants do not require dinner reservations, except for the à la carte restaurants at our sister resort Alexandra. Upon check-in, guests will receive information on how to book reservations from their phones using the resort Wi-Fi. Our dining ambassador can also assist.
